Australians need to be careful when speaking around our American friends. Our lingo can be the same, but different

Ok, so us Aussies and ‘Mericans both speak English (and probably better than most English do, too). But sometimes we can get in bit of a tangle with each other.

There are certain words that when they roll off the Australian tongue may leave our American friends quite bewildered and possibly even a little red.

So, when speaking to Americans, be careful about using these 10 Aussie words that mean something totally different in the good old USA:
