“The new centre will provide a range of services, including accepting visa applications, handling telephone and email enquiries and providing an appointment booking service for the visa office of the Australian Embassy,” commented Australian ambassador James White.

The center was opened by Mr White, British Embassy’s charge d’Affairs Paul Bute and Sriram Narayan of VFS.

VFS (Thailand) Ltd has an agreement with the Australian Embassy Bangkok to provide Australian visa application services in Thailand.

VFS Global is a global outsourcing and technology services specialist for diplomatic missions and governments worldwide.

The VFS Global’s chief operating officer for Australia, Sriram Narayan said VFS Global were privileged to be associated with the government of UK and Australia and they are happy to offer a new visa application centre for Bangkok applicants.

The uk.gov website states, “A new global contact centre [has opened] for all visa enquiries. A range of enquiry options will be available in both English and Thai including a free recorded phone service, a free email enquiry service, a premium call line and web-chat service.”
