FRESH from their Australia Day antics and their highly anticipated refurbishment relaunch, Walkabout Temple are throwing open the doors on Thursday night this week (2 February) for a special ‘One Night Stand’ with a difference.
Complete with awesome English backing band – One Night Stand – the night promises to be an evening of “live band karaoke” and some “seriously cool tunes”. Punters have the chance to choose between almost 100 old faves (we checked – AC/DC’s ‘Back In Black’ is on the list with Bon Jovi’s ‘Living On A Prayer’ plus even some ABBA for the girls!) and sing with the aid of an awesome live band.

“It’s the opportunity to sing live to your favourite song with a band on stage – basically the ultimate wanna-be rockstars dream!” the guys at the famous Walkie tell us.
So get on down for a night of live music, great atmosphere and arguably the best party in town.
But good luck to trying to get the microphone off Australian Times Publisher Bryce Lowry if he’s in the middle of The Divinyls classic ‘I Touch Myself’. You’ve been warned!
