RAQUEL, 26
Occupation: Travel Consultant
Time in the house: 11 months
Hometown and country: Market Bosworth,UK
Top quality I bring to the house: Cooking (personal joke — I can’t really cook). Looking after these boys.
Weirdest Aussie thing the housemates say: They like to use the word ‘bloody’, all the bloody time.
Strangest thing I’ve learned about Oz from my housemates: It would take you five days to drive across their country. Really!?
Worst Aussie habit I have picked up: abbreviating everything.
I love Aussies because … they are so friendly, generous and gregarious (they taught me that word).
I am actually Australian because … i shorten and abbreviate all my sentences (thanks for the bad influence, boys!).
What I love about London life? The quality restaurants and bars, the ease of travel, having all my friends really close and long, lazy weekends.
Essential travel item: Passport
Favourite travel destination: Argentina
