With more than just a barber, Seville is known for having some of the friendliest locals in Spain!
It is not unusual to enter one of the cities many tapas bars alone and leave hours later with a bevy of new friends from Seville!
If you do, make sure they give you directions to the striking Plaza de Espana, where the imposing buildings (which you may recognise from a Star Wars film) are set in a huge semi-circle around an impressive fountain. Spend some time here examining the depictions of various regions of Spain which adorn the exterior walls.
The capital of Andalucia, Seville is most renowned though as the home of Flamenco and there are numerous clubs where you can enjoy the amazing spectacle of colour, claps and fancy footwork over a caraf of the house best.
You can explore Seville as part of Topdeck’s 18 Day Iberian Voyager trip to Spain, Portugal and Morocco.
Departures May – September, from £975 plus £195 food fund.
