There were highlights aplenty in Australia’s thrilling last ball victory against South Africa in the T20 cricket at Wanderers on Sunday, but the man on everyone’s lips is the Proteas’ latest pin-up boy, Kagiso Rabada.
The 20-year-old paceman has been blossoming in recent months, to the rapture of Saffa cricket fans, with his feats including taking 5+ wickets in three innings over two Tests against England.
Rabada’s athleticism was on show again on Sunday with this blinding outfield catch to dismiss Aussie captain Steve Smith.
Australia went on to win the match though, after a world record partnership of 161 between David Warner and Glen Maxwell and a final ball hit and run from Mitchel Marsh.
In some other good news for Aussie cricket fans, Nine and Fox have done a deal with the T20 World Cup host broadcasters that means Australian viewers will get to watch the international slogfest after all. Howzat!
