Queensland Thunderstorms to follow after the scorching weekend

Queensland will be experiencing some wet weather conditions in the days to come.

While the weather conditions remain unstable in the state of Queensland, residents should expect more thunderstorms in parts of the state.

Unstable Queensland weather conditions

Just days ago, a tornado has been spotted in Queensland for mere minutes before disappearing into the sky again.

The bureau of meteorology reported that this kind of weather event is due to very warm weather conditions.

The tornado has reportedly caused damage to Brisbane airport in Queensland. As a result, flight catchers were unable to leave the port for hours. While the tornado hasn’t touched the ground of the park it was spotted in, a building has been leaking as a result. Luckily no car damage has been reported.

Currently, the worst of the thunderstorms is said to have passed. Wet weather should, however, still be expected.

Areas such as New South Wales are also set for more rain. This is, however, to be expected later in the week.

Additionally, Melbourne and Sydney will be experiencing some mild weather during this week with Melbourne temperatures peaking in the mid -20C range.

Since these weather conditions continue to persist in the state of Queensland, residents are urged to remain safe.
