In the wake of the Paris terror attacks on Friday, ‘The Project’ presenter launched into his ‘Something We Should Talk About’ segment, telling viewers that Islamic State (ISIL/ISIS) is “weak”.

“I know it doesn’t look like that right now, but it’s the truth. And they don’t want you to know it,” he says.

Aly goes on to show that ISIL/ISIS (Islamic State) are perhaps not as tough as they would like everyone to believe.

He argues that the terror organisation’s strategy is to inflate our fear of them by claiming responsibility for terrorist events that aren’t necessarily arranged by them, and the proof is in their own propaganda.

According to Aly, ISIS will be ecstatic about reports that Muslims in Paris and other places around the world have been subject to threats since the attacks in the French capital.

“This evil organisation has it in their heads that if they can make Muslim’s the enemy of the West then Muslims in France and England and America and here in Australia will have nowhere to turn but to ISIL,” he says.

“That was exactly their strategy in Iraq, and now they want it to go global.

“Saying that out loud, it’s both dumbfounding in its stupidity and blood curdling in its barbarity.

“We’re all feeling a million raging emotions right now; I am angry at these terrorists.

“I am sickened by the violence and I’m crushed for the families that have been left behind; but you know what, I won’t be manipulated.

“We all need to come together. I know how that sounds, I know that’s a cliche, but it’s also true because it’s exactly what ISIL doesn’t want.”

If you are preaching hate at a time when what we need is more love, then you are helping ISIL, Aly says, and they (ISIL) have said as much in their propaganda.

“If you are just someone with a Facebook or Twitter account firing off misguided missives of hate, you’re helping ISIL. They’ve told us that,” he states.

“And I’m pretty sure that, right now, none of us wants to help these bastards.”
