Brexit? Pfft, so last week. This week it’s time to decide who runs Australia. The Federal election is on this Saturday, 2 July but Aussies living in London need to get their votes in by tonight (Friday).
Historically, Australia House in London is in fact the largest polling station in federal elections, either at home or abroad. In 2013, over 15,000 votes were cast there.
Australia House is the only place in Britain where you can cast your vote in-person.

The Australian Electoral Commission has urged expat voters to get their ballots in early to make sure their vote counts in the 2016 federal election.
“Australians who are enrolled but will be overseas on Saturday 2 July should plan ahead of time to make sure they can cast their vote,” Mr Rogers said.
The easiest way to vote if you are overseas is in-person at one of the 94 overseas Aussie voting centres around the world. Links to the participating Australian diplomatic missions are available at aec.gov.au/overseas.
