Trump supporters get gleefully brutal about #OscarsFail

After a marathon Academy Awards evening of Trump bashing, at the biggest moment it all came crashing down and the right was there to stick the boot in.

It is being hailed as the biggest cock-up in Academy Awards, ney all awards, history (maybe even all of history itself) – when La La Land was mistakenly announced as the 2017 winner of the Oscar for Best Picture.

But the winner was really Moonlight, whose makers were eventually given the gold statuettes only after La La Land‘s producers had delivered their acceptance speech.

The epic fail capped off a typically hours and hours upon hours long Oscars ceremony that was this year regularly punctuated with digs and put downs of the newly installed President Donald Trump and his deeply controversial administration.

The typical Hollywood lefty elite taking free swings at the alt-right poster boy. Well, until the gripping #OscarsFail climax, and then Trump’s riled up cheer squad had a field day…
