Top 10 things that provoke couple fights

A relationship between two grown human beings can’t consist of sweet moments only.

Arguments and fights become inevitable when the honeymoon phase comes to an end and partners switch to the routine. The situation gets exacerbated if they move in together – indeed, coexisting requires us to be patient and give up some of our habits and principles. Let’s have a look at the 10 problems modern couples debate about.

#1 What romance is

Surely, it is the female prerogative. The thing is that men and women have different opinions about how to demonstrate their feelings. All women want to feel loved and they wait for particular signs from their men while the latter forget about it too often. Keep in mind that cheering your beloved one up is necessary!

#2 Friends

Ideally, you should meet each other’s close friends because these people help us become who we are. Yet there are many situations when one’s friends and romantic partner can’t find a common ground. Unfortunately, it is not always possible to bring all your dearest people together. Or, maybe, you really skimp on signs of attention and your significant other feels abandoned?

#3 Who should do the housework?

This question will unavoidably occur when you start living together. Instead of sharing responsibilities, some people prefer dumping their jobs on their partners. By all means, this is unfair and you’d better clarify the situation in order to minimize the risk of conflicts.

#4 Personal tastes

Compatibility isn’t something to take for granted and even true matches can have dissimilar hobbies and tastes. How can your partner watch this stupid show/eat this disgusting food/spend all the free time playing senseless games? Well, nobody is perfect and your lover definitely has good sides.

#5 Little annoying habits

You know what I’m talking about: physiological processes like belching or farting, throwing dirty clothes all around the house, and, uh, leaving the toilet seat up/down. They aren’t noticeable at the dating stage but when it all grows into a relationship, the unpleasant truth gets disclosed.

#6 Jealousy triggers

Jealousy is natural as it is encoded in our biological structure. There are a lot of things that may irritate e.g. friends of the opposite sex, attention to other girls or boys, chatting to random hotties on social networking sites etc. And the exes too. Please avoid mentioning your exes unless your partner asks!

#7 Quality time ideas

Everyone has his own understanding of what having a good day means. Say, you love going for long walks or bike trips across the nearby area while your significant other prefers spending the entire weekend watching sports games. In fact, there is nothing wrong with having your alone time – you two do not have to always hang out together.

#8 Sex

No one can argue with the fact sex is an integral part of love life. Quite often, people have to part if they aren’t compatible in this sense. It is okay that different people have different preferences but it is necessary to reach compromises if you want your relationship to work.

#9 Family duties

No couple exists in the vacuum: they have parents, siblings, children, and some distant relatives to visit on occasion. Why do you always have to visit her parents but not yours on Christmas? Why di you always have to look after kids on your own? It is not always easy to divide your responsibilities harmoniously.

#10 Financial issues

You would buy so many good and handy things if your beloved one stopped wasting all the money on useless stuff! Some people believe that discussing financial topics is not acceptable since we should stop being so materialistic. Yet this is what determines the entire atmosphere in the family.
