This is a unique opportunity to gather Australia’s culture and technology sectors under one roof.

Enjoying global partnerships with the likes of Google, Bloomberg, The Guardian attendees of can look forward to speeches by Facebook’s Australia MD William Eaton, Tom Uglow, director at Google Creative and Arno Lenior, Chief Marketing Officer at Samsung.

Conference organizer Deanna Coleman says “In both the UK and Australia more people are attending arts and cultural events than sporting events.  The art and culture sector grew by 12 per cent last year in the UK and most other sectors didn’t actually grow and it’s where all the new jobs are coming from in terms of young start-ups.”

The event is enjoying a lot of government confidence and financial backing on three government levels from Federal level right through to the City of Sydney; via the Australian Council and the NSW tourism organization – Destination NSW.

“There’s a ‘start-up revolution’ happening,” Coleman says. “At the same time, technology is disrupting not just new business models but actually the way in which audiences consume culture”.
