An Aussie without Vegemite is like toast without, well, Vegemite.
UK supermarket chain Sainsbury’s have just confirmed that they will no longer be selling the popular spread owing to a “diminished market”.
Competitor Waitrose has said that they still have Vegemite, but that all stocked products are reviewed regularly, reported news.com.au. It’s not a good sign that another Austrlain spread, AussieMite recenty disappeared from Waitrose’s shelves.
