Design Australia Group: Redefining Drafting as the engine of housing growth

The bushfire crisis that has engulfed Australia over recent weeks and months has shown the worst that nature can deal out, partly in response to the affect humans are having on the planet.

But it has also brought out the best in human nature when it comes to caring for our beautiful wildlife which have been so savagely affected.

According to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), over 1 billion animals, including Aussie icons like the koala and kangaroo, have tragically perished in the bushfires, perhaps pushing some species to the brink of extinction.

There is hope, though, that we might care enough to save our beloved fauna, as these sad yet wonderful clips and photos demonstrate.

Even as rain falls across parts of #Australia the search, recovery and rescue continues.
Each life saved is special and although these kangaroos are orphaned, now safely in care. #TuesdayThoughts

Will never forget my last #KangarooIsland rescue. Heading back to base on my own to book a flight home and saw this dazed koala with an exposed rib. Got him to the vets and stayed for his last moments 😥 Time to recoup, but will be back to do whatever I can for this special place pic.twitter.com/9VmpYHykDG
