Australia expressed its solidarity with France in the wake of the terror attacks in Paris, joining the world in illuminating some of its most recognisable landmarks in the colours of the French flag.
While the likes of the Sydney Opera House, Brisbane’s Story Bridge and the Melbourne Cricket Ground glowed in red, white and blue, a special French flag soared with Australia’s above the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
