Andrew Lovett jailed for 8 months

The former partner of Andrew Lovett endured a lot of pain and has been relieved to be done with the traumatic chapter in her life. According to ABC News, the police officer met Andrew on Tinder and her life has changed ever since.

While this may be the first time someone hears of his domestic abuse, Andrew Lovett had dealt with a rape charge against him in 2008. He has been acquitted of this charge but it has cost him his career with the Saints.

In two of the domestic abuse charges, Andrew Lovett actually went as far as choking his partner until she was unconscious. Another incident reported that she was punched by him and kicked while she was in the shower.

Upon regaining consciousness, the woman grabbed a knife in fear of her life and stormed off with her car. On some nights, she would actually fall asleep in her car or at the homes of family members or friends.

Domestic abuse date back to 2020 until 2021

As reported by The Age, these assaults or attacks date back to 2020 until December of 2021. The assault has been repeatedly done during this time.

In court, the victim expressed her feelings about the emotional scars that Andrew Lovett has left on her. Not only does she suffer emotionally, but she also had to cover up her physical scars with makeup when she had to go into the office.
