Powerball soar to $120 million for next weeks draw

Powerball prizes have always been skyrocket high but this time the prize has risen to a whopping $120 million for a lucky Australian player in this coming week. This will be the highest prize to be won in the first division. 

The draw on Thursday didn’t see any winners as there were no players in the division. But, now that the prize has been lifted, many can expect the ques to be longer.  The online platform will also be very busy.

According to News, The winning numbers for Thursday’s draw are 24 – 7 – 34 – 22- 13- 30 – 6, and the Powerball number was 10.

A spokesman of The Lott relayed that players should try and get their tickets early. The ticket sales are expected to soar into next week. Additionally, it is believed that a large number of people will buy the ticket for the $120 million dollar draw. 

According to Matt Hart, the game hasn’t soared past $80 million since 2019. 

“With such a massive offer on the table, we’re expecting people right around the country to be dreaming about exactly how they’d transform their lives if they won that prize.”

Powerball players are able to purchase their tickets in-store and online. The entries close on Thursday the 24th of February at 7:30 pm. While no player got the $80 million jackpot in Thursday’s draw, a good two million players got their share of $47.6 million in Thursday’s draw. 

This surge in the prize would be increased for the sixth time so far.
