Victoria is expected to reach its 80% milestone on Friday. While this is exciting news, many will be thrilled to know that the Melbourne cup carnival is welcoming crowds back.

Victoria opens up again for the Melbourne Cup Carnival

The Melbourne cup carnival is Australia’s most famous annual horse race. This kicks off on Victoria derby day also nicknamed derby day.

Australians will be preparing for the most fun-filled days and is quite frankly, what everyone needs.

While the carnival is the most anticipated event of the year, some might be disappointed in learning that only 500 tickets will be available to the public.

Members of VRC

Around this time, the Victoria racing club is looking to reward its members for supporting them during the coronavirus pandemic.

While the outdoor mask rule will be scrapped this Friday at 6 pm, visitors are still expected to wear a mask at all times.

“We certainly don’t want to compromise the safety requirements we’ve signed off on”

Presently, around 5, 500 people will be in attendance at Flemington for derby day.
