Ryan Campbell: Cricket star fighting for his life after a heart attack

Ryan Campbell is reportedly fighting for his life in a London hospital. This weekend, Ryan is said to have been with his children before he began to feel unwell.

Ryan Campbell reportedly needed to lie down before the ambulance arrived

It is exactly a month ago since the legend Shane Warne passed away from a suspected heart attack. Right now, Ryan is said to be non-responsive.

In previous reports, Ryan Campbell had made a visit to his wife’s mother with their children. This comes after a long time of border restrictions in Australia.

After a day at the park with his children, Ryan Campbell reportedly started to feel unwell and needed to lie down. A woman who noticed the incident went over and performed CPR on Ryan.

A bystander, fortunately, saw Ryan and performed CPR on him

By the time the ambulance arrived about 15 minutes later, Ryan did have a pulse but was still unresponsive when he arrived at the hospital.

Thus far, Fox News reports that Ryan Campbell was able to breathe on his own a few times. Doctors however are still trying to figure out the cause of the heart attack.

Ryan’s friend, Gareth Parker held back tears while relaying what has happened this past weekend. It has no doubt put an abrupt end to what was a jolly Easter weekend.

“What we understand is that Campbo was at a playground with his kids when he took a turn and he essentially laid down and had trouble breathing,”

The news comes as a shock to many as Ryan is and was believed to be fit as a fiddle. To date, the cricket legend coaches the Netherlands team.
