Paul Sorvino sadly passed away this past Monday. Reports share that his wife Dee Dee was alongside him when he died.
Right now, many tributes have flown in for the late actor who has been in the industry for over 50 years. He was best known for his roles in Law and Order as well as Goodfellas.
To date, the wife and daughter of Paul have shared their respective tributes to the late actor. Many other actors and actresses have shared their condolences to the family.
Thus far, Dee Dee shared that she is completely devastated and heartbroken at the loss of her loved one this past Monday morning.
“Our hearts are broken, there will never be another Paul Sorvino, he was the love of my life, and one of the greatest performers to ever grace the screen and stage,”
Presently, there is no cause of death revealed. However, the family did share that he died from natural causes. The actor was 83 years old when he passed.
According to ABC News, Paul Sorvino worked as a copywriter in the advertising industry. Years after that, Paul decided to pursue a career in acting. His daughter, Mira Sorvino received an Academy Award for best-supporting actress.
After the news of his death, an old tribute from Mira to her father at the Academy Awards resurfaced. The actor is seen getting emotional while his daughter dedicates her award to her father.
