Masterchef Australia is the most popular foodie competition around and aspiring chefs can really make a name for themselves on the show regardless of winning status.

Debut Masterchef Australia winner Julie Goodwin eliminated

According to the Daily Mail, Masterchef Australia has eliminated Julie Goodwin after the bottom of her cake was burnt. However, many viewers were taken aback as they felt the judges helped Daniel with his dishes but did not offer the same for Julie and others.

One wrote, ‘They didn’t tell Sarah [Todd] about the chilli and whiskey combination/balance. They didn’t help Billie [McKay] with her overflowing oil pot. They didn’t tell Julie to check on her cake. But good god did the judges basically cook Daniel’s dish for him,’

Thus far, one of the judges went over to Daniel to ask how he would remove the bones from his salmon. After overcooking the salmon Daniel went on to cook calamari for the judges.

Congratulations flood for Billie McKay

Right now, viewers think that Daniel still has a place at Masterchef Australia as the judges have their favorites on the show. However, one of the judges, Melissa Leong denied these accusations.

‘Of course, you feel fond of them [the contestants], but we are still judging the food on the plate at the end of the day,’

So far, in tonight’s episode, Billie McKay has landed the third spot on Masterchef Australia in the hopes of earning the Masterchef title this year. To date, many supporters flooded McKay with congratulations.

Billie is the deserving winner of the 2022 Masterchef title. She has been for weeks, but tonight really highlights that she's the best, regardless of what the judges/producers think #MasterChefAU

Billie has put up with weeks of Jock & Andy being twats to her. I love seeing her return serve.

Intimidated much, boys?#Masterchefau

Please give us more Mel. She’s at least nice when giving criticism. #MasterChefAU
