Johnny Depp reveals details about relationship with Amber Heard in court

Johnny Depp is determined to clear his reputation from any of the alleged false rumors or claims that he abused his ex-wife. In the six-week trial, each of them will state their case in the matter.

Johnny Depp shares that abuse claims are untrue

Thus far, Johnny Depp is suing his ex-wife for 50 million in damages. This comes as the claims he abused her have become somewhat of the truth in the industry.

In his testimony, Johnny Depp relayed that these physical abuse claims have damaged his career as the entertainment industry has taken these claims as the truth regardless of his truth.

Right now, in a counter lawsuit, Amber Heard is suing Johnny Depp for 100 million in damages for claiming her abuse testimony is a hoax.

About the early days of their relationship

To give a background on their relationship, Johnny Depp shared that the pair had a good relationship initially. That is before things started to change between them.

Depp explained that the two of them had developed a ritual when he came home in the evenings. He relayed that Amber Heard would bring him wine and take off his boots.

He shared that this was different for him as he had not experienced it before. However, one night, Amber was visibly busy and he decided to take his shoes off himself.

When she saw he had done this she was very upset about it. Johnny Depp described this event as strange and that her demeanor towards him had changed drastically after this.

“Within a year or year and a half, she had become another person, almost.”

Abuse effects and claims

At the time of the abuse claims, Johnny Depp revealed that this was his biggest frustration as his children were in high school at the time.

“I thought it was diabolical that my children would have to go to school and have their friends or people in the school approach them with the People magazine cover with Ms. Heard with a dark bruise on her face,”

He shared that he would like to clear up all the untruths about their relationship as much for himself as for his family.

Currently, the six-week trial is in its second week. More information is yet to come to the surface. As reported by ABC News, Heard is expected to give her side later in the trial.
