Simon Leviev is the popular con man that got away. The Tinder Swindler has been released on Netflix on February second and boy oh boy is it something! In this two-hour documentary, three women go into detail about finding or matching with a perfect guy on Tinder.

The Tinder Swindler love story

In each of their stories, the women relay a very much similar tale. They share how they met and how they fell in love. This tale is not only similar in this respect but also in the way it ended.

What seemed to be the start of a fairytale, quickly turned into a nightmare. This true story not only harmed them emotionally but also hit their pockets very hard.

Now, Simon Leviev has quite a criminal record. From the age of 20, Simon has conned people out of their money. He has, however, spent some jail time for the crimes her committed. In his early 20s, he would continue to steal from people and flee the respective countries with a fake ID.

Simon Leviev has not been charged or arrested yet

Presently, Simon Leviev is a  free man who has not been charged with any of the crimes the women have relayed in the documentary.

The same story with different women

So, here’s how the story goes. A few well-off women are on the lookout for love, match with a handsome man who is rich and always covered in designer clothing. On the first date, he would take women to a five-star hotel and would take them on a one-day trip with a private jet.

Upon receiving their trust, Simon then texts them in the middle of the night saying that he is in some kind of trouble and that his life is in danger. Of course, the women would instantly panic and do anything for the person they think is the love of their life.

Simon Leviev stole 10 million collectively

He then proceeds to ask them for an x amount of money and promises to pay it back. The tragedy in this is that the women who each gave him a different amount of money, are still paying off their debts. Some of the monies in which he had shown off to the women were stolen money he had received from another.

Currently, Simon Leviev has stolen almost 10 million from the women we know of, collectively. He is also wanted in a number of states for the same or different crimes he has committed.
