The famous social media influencer and boss lady of the skims collection proved to us that she is “More than a pretty face”. What we didn’t know is the level of preparedness Kim Kardashian West had for the show.
While SNL has been known for its extremely funny and witty conversation, fans were not prepared for Kim to set the stage alight. Following her split from well know artist Kanye West, Kim makes reference to her marriage and many other aspects of her life.
The Keeping up with the Kardashians star continued to say that “I’m here to announce that I’m running….just kidding. We can’t have three failed politicians in our family” and the crowd was certainly here for it.
On the other hand, Twitter users had plenty to say about Kim appearing on SNL. Turns out, Kim had many naysayers preceding the show premier.
Now, many of the jabs and references to her family and funny jokes about them are only understood by those who have followed the lives of the Kardashians. With that being said, the star opens up about countless personal events and the way she took hold of her narrative is commendable.
So, I think we’re all proud of Kim doing her thing at SNL and doing a good job at that.
Moreover, Kim’s mom, sister Kloe, as well as Kanye, accompanied her to the SNL show. This alone caused fans to question whether Kim and Kanye have reunited again. Whether they are or not has not yet been confirmed.
As we all know, Kim Kardashian is not exactly camera shy and her opening sentences relay just this. “I haven’t had a movie premiere in a long time. In fact, no one told me that it will be premiering”
With the above being a reference to her leaked sex tape with singer Ray J, Kim takes ownership of her mistakes.
