Hocus Pocus will be making its return to screens in the months to come. Thus far, the trailer shows that the original cast members will be making their return to the film.
The Sanderson sister return to Hocus Pocus
Since Hocus Pocus was officially revived in 2019, the cast members could only start filming last fall. So far, the film is set to be released sometime in September this year.
Right now, the official synopsis of Hocus Pocus reads that the witches are back for revenge. In the original film, the witches are killed by civilians 300 years ago and were ultimately turned to dust.
Quite frankly, it doesn’t seem that this was enough to be put back into the ground permanently. As the witches are back to wreak havoc on people during the Halloween season.
Plot of the film remains the same
This time, it seems that the teenagers are once again responsible for the resurrection of the witches in the town. According to the trailer, the witches could be resurrected on the sixteenth birthday of one of the girls.

According to Timeout, the returning cast members are Sarah Jessica Parker, Bette Midler, and Kathy Najimy. Other cast members is the Gossip Girl Reboot star Whitney Peak and two other unknown actresses’.
Thus far, the awkward witches are planning on wreaking havoc on the city of Salem, and to prevent the witches from doing this, the teenage girls stop them from doing this.
