Anxious People Series – A Comedy Drama About A Failed Robbery

Anxious people is just the series that captures a failed plan and a sense of community that surrounds a shared trauma.

What’s funnier than a bank robbery gone wrong? If you can think of something funnier than that, scratch that thought because this limited series will surely have you scratching your head and laughing your socks off.

A robbery gone wrong

After a robber attempts to rob a bank, to his dismay, the bank actually has no cash to steal. What’s worse than having a motive you cannot complete?

Well, things don’t really end there. The robber then decides to take up eight hostages in an open house. But wait, there’s a catch, when the police show up, the house is empty!

To start things off, the two police officers are also father and son which makes it an interesting pairing if you ask me.

The only anxious people are the cops!

The trailer makes the two officers really look like two rookies who don’t really have everything under control when they say they “have everything under control”. This is evident when shots got fired out of a window when the cop mentions these very words and is the first person to duck when the shots are fired.

So, I guess you understand why the series is called anxious people which is determined by all these factors.

Now, all the hostages are then interviewed after this event but all their stories are either not the same or don’t make sense. So the police are then left to figure out how all the puzzles fit together.

The real question is, will they actually find out what happened or continue to reach a dead end? Find out how the series unravels on December 29th, 2021 on Netflix!
