Emmy 2022 nominations: Squid Game gets 14 nominations

Emmy nominations have been announced and some may be disappointed of some of the names left out in different works, and some of your best tv shows.

The Emmys snub some actresses

Thus far, Only Murders in the Building has received 17 nominations for the most outstanding drama tv series. However, Selena Gomez was not nominated for an Emmy though her other male co-stars did.

To date, there might be a few snubs as Jennifer Aniston herself has not been nominated for The Morning Show. But, her fellow co-star Reese Witherspoon has received an Emy nomination for outstanding lead actress in a drama series.

While many people will not be recognized for their work, there are a few proud moments for many. As Squid Game has received 14 nominations for the best drama tv series. This will be the first time a series in another language has received this many nominations.

Emmy-nominated shows include Insecure, The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, and Saturday Night Live

To date, two of the Netflix series stars have been nominated for best leading actor in a drama series. With another for the best supporting actor in a drama series. Presently, Squid Game will be renewed for a second season.

According to Elle Australia, Sadie Sink and Millie Bobby Brown are not among the list of nominated actresses for their series this year. However, each of them might stand a chance next year given their fourth season of the series has not been out that long yet.

The 2022 Emmys will take place on the 12th of September later this year. With all the great content this year, it will be an exciting night.
