Di Kershaw dies at the age of 73 after short illness

Di Kershaw sadly passed on at the age of 73 after going through a short illness. Reports share that she didn’t notify the public of her health issues as she focussed on spending time with her family.

Thus far, the Daily Mail reports that Di Kershaw was told that she had a tumor on her throat. However, doctors shared that the tumor was inoperable given that it was on her throat. 

To date, Di Kershaw is known for appearing on the tv show Gogglebox, which she and her husband shared. So far, it is reported that the couple has been married for over 50 years.

Presently, 3AW entertainment reporter Peter Ford was the first to share the sad news through the radio channel. 

“She’s been sick sadly for a couple of months now, so condolences to Mick and the entire family.”

As shared by 7News, Di and Mick Kershaw met when Di was 17 and when he was 20 years old. After dating on and off for five years. Thereafter, Mick finally proposed.

Right now, Di leaves behind her husband Mick, two adult children as well as a grandson of which she adored greatly. 

To date, Di was a former model with Mick being a marketing executive. So far, it is reported that Di Kershaw convinced her husband to leave his job so that they could focus on Gogglebox. 

So far, Di is remembered for her dry humor. As well as critical comments on Dancing with the Stars dancer Angie Kent. 

‘She was on Gogglebox, then went to the jungle, then she became the Bachelorette, and now she’s a dancing star… Spare me. She’s no dancer, that’s for sure,’

Thus far, 7News shares that Di Kershaw preferred not to talk about her illness with the public as she focussed on spending time with them instead. 

To date, Di and Mick appeared on eight seasons of Gogglebox but were briefly absent in 2020 when they decided to self-isolate without a camera crew around.
