Billie McKay is crowned the winner of Masterchef for the second time

Billie McKay found herself being 5 points behind Sarah Todd in her last challenge. However, this did not stop her from giving her best and giving in to defeat.

Sarah Todd and Billie McKay outdo themselves in the final challenge

In the last challenge, Billie McKay and her rival Sarah Todd were challenged to make the trickiest dessert of all time. While both of them did their task to perfection there could only be one winner.

For both Billie McKay and Sarah Todd, this would be their second time around doing Masterchef Australia. Each of them doing phenomenally well to come back and land a place in the top two.

Previously, Sarah Todd found herself in tenth place when she participated in Masterchef Australia. But came back to show that she can make it to the top, and boy did she make it to the top.

This year, Billie McKay aimed to prove to herself that she still has the passion and the patience to do what she loves after taking a break from the cooking theatrics and raising her little daughter.

Right now, it seems both journeys were completely worth it as Billie and Sarah Todd proved to themselves that they still got it despite their countless career achievements presently.

However, it is Billie who is making history as a two-time Masterchef Australia winner this year after enduring a tough competition with the best cooks in Australia.
As shared by Adelaine Now, Billie ultimately won the season 14 competition as well as a $250 000 prize.
