Aussie comedy: You know what Anne Edmonds is like

In the heart of lively Soho is Soho Theatre, London’s premier comedy venue. Each year, they host a plethora of the world’s finest stand-up, including Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award Winners and nominees, Sam Simmons, Matt Okine, Wil Anderson, Steen Raskopoulos and more.

This January, Aussie comic Anne Edmonds brings her award-winning hit show, You Know What I’m Like (Winner: Comics’ Choice Award Melbourne Comedy Festival) – and it’s a must-see.

Anne is obsessed with what’s going on beneath the surface of people’s seemingly normal lives, including her own. This is dark comedy about the people who inhabit sunny, middle Australia and the strain of appearing sane.

Anne has performed at Melbourne International Comedy Festival to sell-out audiences and critical acclaim, the New York Comedy Festival and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Off stage, Anne has made several television appearances including Wednesday Night Fever (ABC1), It’s a Date (ABC1) and Backseat Drivers (ABC2).  Anne has also gone viral with her ABC produced video ‘Raylene the Racist’ (watch, below) which attracted over 60,000 YouTube hits.

‘Unaffected charm and sheer comic brilliance.’
