The legendary music festival will continue as usual next year, and will return in 2013 according to a report in The Guardian. It’s rumoured that U2, the Rolling Stones and Prince will be headlining the festival in 2011, however the line up won’t be announced until spring next year. Tickets for 2011 have already sold out.
Organiser of the world’s biggest open air festival Michael Eavis revealed in a recent interview that it would be too expensive to go up against the Olympics. The festival ordinarily utilises some 600 police officers, who would be required by the Games, and Eavis said infrastructure like portable toilets and trains would be fierce.

"So we looked at the timing and thought that a year off seemed sensible," he told The Guardian.
This year, Kylie was a surprise guest at the festival, performing onstage with Scissor Sisters.
