Poker is One of Many Gambling Pastimes Enjoyed in the Country

Easier Now for Australians to Get Recognised
Aside from poker not being as popular in Australia as in other countries, keen local players have found it hard to gain recognition being so far away from the game’s epicentre in the States. Until recently, all the most famous tournaments and televised poker games occurred in North America, meaning that Australians had a long way to travel to be in with a chance of competing with the best in the business.
Thanks to the rise of competitions online, it could be easier now for serious poker players in Australia to make it to the top. It would simply be a case of players making names for themselves online before gaining entry and tickets to the best tournaments the west has to offer.
Poker players in Australia may have previously been put off by the difficulty that many experience in making it in the cutthroat industry. But legends like Addamo have proven that it is possible to reach the top. This will be made easier by the improved access to major online tournaments.
