Occupation: Journalist

Top quality I bring to the house? My amazing sporting ‘knowledge’.
Weirdest housemate behaviour: Sare snoring or Benji’s ever garbled attempts at English!
Fave Aussie saying: No wuccas!
Fave Aussie food: Meat pie!
Holden or Ford? I’ve owned both but I think Holden takes it.
Geez, I miss this about Australia: My fam, the sun, the beach,
What I love about London life? My weekly Australian Times newspaper, my Friday dose of Sport Magazine, travelling to Europe and the festivals here.
Essential travel item: Passport (when it hasn’t been put the wash – thanks Sare!)
Favourite travel destination: It’s hard to choose…Spain and Italy stand-out, South America tops the list too.

BENJI, 25
Occupation: Student
Time in the house: One month
Hometown and country: Oviedo, Spain
Top quality I bring to the house: My ‘chicken and beer’ dish. Amazing!
Weirdest Aussie thing the housemates say: Strewth.
Strangest thing I’ve learned about Oz from my housemates: Their Queen is the English Queen.
Worst Aussie habit I have picked up: I say ‘mate’ too much…
I love Aussies because … they’re always smiling, they’re always fun.
I am actually Australian because … I can say ‘mate’ better than our English friends.
What I love about London life? The rugby lifestyle, the bars and the city.
Essential travel item: My sunglasses.
Favourite travel destination: Australia!
