MIKE, 26
Occupation: Barman
Time in the house: 7 months
Hometown and country: Chester,UK
Top quality I bring to the house: A foghorn that precedes many an announcement, no matter how trivial.
Weirdest Aussie thing the housemates say: Not housemates per se, but an Aussie customer in my pub wanted a steak sandwich & a pint of Guinness. He asked for a steak sango and a pint of Guinno.  It doesn’t even save time, it’s the same amount of syllables!
Strangest thing I’ve learned about Oz from my housemates: Australia used to be attached toNew Zealand but the Kiwi’s were so ashamed of it they chipped it off and pushed it out to sea.
Worst Aussie habit I have picked up: Casual nudity and blatant sexism.  Thanks Andrew.
I love Aussies because … no matter how hard you try, you can’t offend the work-shy, intellectually challenged simpletons.
I am actually Australian because .. er, I turn every sentence into a question?
What I love about London life? Always something happening, brilliantly multi-cultural, amazing parks in the summertime, consistently insightful conversation with strangers on the tube.  Wait, scrap that last one.
My biggest small world moment: Picking up a Spanish girl in a club, and after leaving her house realising she lived one minute’s walk from my place.  Of ALL the places inLondon…
Essential travel item: Guitar and spare strings.
Favourite travel destination: South America.  It’s where dreams sprout wings and take flight, in case you hadn’t heard.

BEN, 26.
Occupation: Office tea boy.
Time in the house: 7 months.

Top quality I bring to the house: My ability at debating with Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Weirdest Aussie thing the housemates say: “G’day you’s feral galahs, get us a flamin’ tim-tam from the servo!”
Strangest thing I’ve learned about Oz from my housemates: That there are actually trees inAustralia!
Worst Aussie habit I have picked up: Her name is Johanna.
I love Aussies because… I’m dating one, see above.
I am actually Australian because… I’ve learnt how to fend off a drop bear.
What I love about London life? Meeting so many Australians.
My biggest small world moment: When I realisedEnglandcould fit intoAustralia32 times!

Geez, I miss this about Australia: Mrs. Mac’s Famous Beef Pie.
What I love about London life? The falconry scene.
Essential travel item: Pet Goldfish.
Favourite travel destination: The land of Nod.
My biggest small world moment: In Mexico, I was in a small town, staying in one of the 3 hostels available. When I got a job inLondon, two days into work one of the lads I met in the hostel in Mexico walked in.

JOHANNA, 25
