Neill who joined Everton in September was surprised at the move to Turkey.
Talking to Sky Sports News he said “I’m now delighted I’ll be joining a massive European club with great ambitions for the season."

Neill is not the only Aussie on the move in this January’s Football Transfer market, with former Adelaide United star Bruce Djiti moving within Turkey from Genclerbirligi to Diyarbakirspor.
The 23-year old is on the fringe of Socceroo coach Pim Verbeek’s 23-man squad for South Africa and has moved clubs in an effort to see more game time.
The 2007-2008 Hyundai A-League player of the year is a strong forward who had seen his appearance limited to 5-substitute appearances this year.
Socceroo coah Verbeek has demanded that all his players see adequate game time ahead of this years World Cup in South Africa in order to be considered for selection.
