WIN tickets to see Hannah Gadsby in London
Win tickets to see one of Australia’s funniest female comedians, Hannah Gadsby, in London.

HANNAH doesn’t smile much and she laughs even less. For a comedian that’s like being a transformer that doesn’t fancy driving. She hates talking and is not much chop when it comes to listening. She is a rock, an island, and a lone ranger. Mrs Chuckles is a tale of mild success and utter failure told in the manner of vague indifference and total incredulity.
It would be a shame to let Hannah’s tendency to take herself too seriously deter you because there is great pleasure to be had in laughing at her. Don’t miss this hit show from one of Australia’s funniest comics.
In the last few years, Hannah has performed to sold out houses at comedy festivals across Australia, accepted an invitation to perform at the exclusive Kilkenny Comedy Festival, the prestigious Montreal Just for Laughs comedy festival and appeared at the Edinburgh Fringe and New Zealand Comedy Festivals. In 2010, Hannah received the Directors’ Choice Award at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and 2011, was nominated for a Barry Award for Best Show.
Hannah is becoming somewhat of a regular on Australian television. She has appeared on various panel shows and was a weekly fixture in the first season of ABC TV’s Adam Hills In Gordon Street Tonight. She has also recorded two specials for ABC TV’s Artscape, Hannah Gadsby Goes Domestic which aired in 2010, and a documentary on the National Gallery of Victoria which aired in 2011. Hannah released her first stand-up DVD “Kiss Me Quick I’m Full of Jubes” through Madman Entertainment earlier this year and is currently writing her first book, based on her medical history and this is due for release shortly.
