THURSDAY, 13 October is World Sight Day and to mark the day Australian Times has teamed up with sight charity The Fred Hollows Foundation (UK) and Beds & Bars to offer our readers the chance to win a trip to England’s surf-capital Newquay.

On this trip you and a friend will travel to Newquay and stay for two nights in the lovely St Christopher’s Inn courtesy of Beds & Bars, plus receive a free meal and surf lesson (dates will be subject to availability up to the end of June 2012).

The Fred Hollows Foundation (UK) is a registered charity which seeks to eliminate avoidable blindness in developing countries. Inspired by the work and example of the late (New Zealand born) Australian ophthalmologist Professor Fred Hollows, The Foundation was established in the United Kingdom in 1999 with a vision of a world where no one is needlessly blind.
