QUESTION: I am currently in the UK as a Tier 1 (General) holder. I need to apply to extend my leave within the next couple of months in order to remain in the UK, and am concerned about the news that the UK Home Office will be raising the points to qualify for the Tier 1 (General) permit. Will this affect me as I am already in the UK under the Tier 1 (General) scheme, and I only wish to apply to extend my stay?
