SALLY PEARSON may be Australia’s gold medal hope in the Olympic 100m hurdles race but it’s another Aussie hurdler that is creating headlines around the world and she isn’t even on the Australian Olympic Team.

19-year-old Sydney girl Michelle Jenneke has set pulses racing across the globe with her sexy warm-up ‘dance’ routine before dominating her 100m hurdles race at the 2012 Junior World Championships in Barcelona.

YouTube clips of the Aussie hurdler’s unique pre-race dance have gone viral and her beaming smile – both before and after the race – would have a few coaches thinking that maybe a happy mindset before a big championship is a guaranteed chance for victory.

Unfortunately Michelle Jenneke and her hip-wiggling, jazz-hands flowing, shimmying won’t be gracing the track at London 2012 as she failed to qualify for this year’s Olympics – but at only 19 years of age, here’s hoping she continues her form (and her dancing) for many years to come.
