Marcos Baghdatis smashes four tennis racquets at Australian Open

Marcos Baghdatis has made headlines around the world after a bizarre tantrum during his second round Australian Open loss to Stanislas Wawrinka. The popular Cypriot smashed four tennis racquets at Melbourne Park, before resuming his match. Watch the video now.

MARCOS BAGHDATIS may be one of the more popular international tennis stars in Australia but Aussie tennis fans will be wondering what exactly he was up to in his latest outing at Melbourne Park when the popular Cypriot smashed four tennis racquets during today’s play at the Australian Open.

The 2006 Australian Open finalist took frustration levels to a new high during his second round match against Stanislas Wawrinka. After seeing his serve broken during a key moment of the match against , Baghdatis completely lost his cool.

While Baghdatis seemed a little rejuvenated after the incident to break back against his opponent, Wawrinka went on to win the contest 7-6(3) 6-4 5-7 6-1.
