The International Cricket Council (ICC) have announced that tickets for the fifteen matches of the ICC Champions Trophy to be held in UK in June 2013 are now on sale.

The ICC Champions Trophy England and Wales 2013 is an 18-day elite cricket event for the top eight one-day international nations in the Reliance Mobile ICC ODI Rankings. The 2013 Tournament will showcase the top ODI players from England, Australia, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, South Africa, New Zealand and West Indies.
Matches will be held at Cardiff, the Oval in London and Edgbaston inÂ Birmingham. Each venue will host five tournament matches with Cardiff staging the opening fixture on 6 June 2013 and Edgbaston staging the final on 23 June 2013.
Australia is in Group A, playing group games against England, New Zealand and Sri Lanka. Group B is made up of India, Pakistan, South Africa and West Indies.
Group games commence on 6 June 2013, with Australia playing England on 8 June at Edgbaston, New Zealand on 12 June at Edgbaston, before heading back to The Oval in London to play Sri Lanka on Monday 17 June.
If Australia top Group A, weâ€™ll go through to the Semi Final to be played at The Oval on 19 June. If runner-up of Group A, weâ€™ll have another chance at the Final by facing off the winner of Group B in Cardiff on 20 June.

Adult tickets are priced in three categories â€“ Gold, Silver and Family Stand â€“ and range from Â£20 (for a group game in the Family Stands) up to Â£60 (Gold ticket for the Final).
Tickets for under-16s are priced at Â£5 for the entire tournament (including the Final), but must attend with an adult. A new pricing structure also sees the introduction of tickets for under-21s, priced between Â£10 – Â£25.

A confirmation email or letter will be sent to all applicants acknowledging receipt of purchase. Sales will continue through to the end of the tournament, with ticket outlets opening 4 weeks prior to the start of the Tournament at each of the venues if tickets are still available for purchase.

The tournament has previously been staged in Bangladesh (1998), Kenya (2000), Sri Lanka (2002), England (2004), India (2006) and South Africa (2009) with the global viewership for ICC Champions Trophy South Africa 2009 totalling over 105m.
