Ruby UK – The new network in London taking strength
Ruby UK will be hosting a networking reception at Australia House on the 4 September in support of the charity Dress For Success, who assist disadvantaged women find employment. The event is supported by keynote speaker and Editor of Glamour UK magazine, Jo Elvin.

RUBY UK will be hosting a networking reception at Australia House on 4 September in support of the charity Dress For Success, who assist disadvantaged women find employment. The event is supported by keynote speaker and Editor of Glamour UK magazine, Jo Elvin.
Ruby UK is a robust network available to all professional women, offering a platform to exchange ideas, share knowledge and become inspired.
An extension of the successful Ruby Connection in Australia, which has over 23,000 members, the network was officially launched in June by Larke Riemer, Director of Westpac Women’s Markets – Australia, who is recognised globally for her contribution to empowering women.
Natalie McPherson, Chair of Ruby UK said: “I’m so proud that Ruby UK and its members are able to support such a worthy charity. We’ve been thrilled by the response so far and are hoping to deliver the largest wardrobe collection the charity has ever seen. I’d encourage ladies to dig deep and get a ticket for the event if they haven’t already. This is such a great cause, with so many amazing people supporting what is shaping up to be a fabulous event.”
Dress for Success London and their trained stylists will dress clients in a smart professional outfit and a senior recruitment adviser will provide personal interview training to prepare for a job interview. Looking fantastic and with confidence restored, a Dress for Success client has a far better chance of success.
Dress for Success has dressed more than 1,000 women a year in high quality clothes donated by retailers and professionals. A visit to Dress for Success London can change the course of a woman’s life.
Ruby UK is currently gathering donations and asks for Australian Times readers to clear out their wardrobes before 4 September.
