Teams prepare for Anzac Challenge
The battle-lines have been drawn and the troops are ready for one of London’s most popular sporting events, the Anzac Challenge.
The Anzac Challenge on 7 May will be a showdown between the might of Australia and New Zealand in a day of sport, culture, entertainment and remembrance.
Aussies and Kiwis will compete across a host of sports including AFL, netball, rugby league, rugby union, tag rugby, touch rugby and football.
There’ll be live music from antipodean favourites Brooke Supple, Jayson Norris, Ian Munro, Town Hall Steps and Melic. Plus bragging rights will once more be up for grabs for the successful sporting teams.
All the action will occur at Wasps FC, Twyford Avenue Sports Grounds in Acton W3 9QA - on 7 May.
If similar events in the past are to go by, it will be a day enjoyed by thousands.
