Kevin Rudd talks dirty in leaked video

A video posted on YouTube shows Kevin Rudd losing his temper in a frustrated tirade of vitriol and venom. Just dirty language or a dirty escalation of the Rudd versus Gillard leadership war?

In the embarrassing clip posted on Friday, Mr Rudd fumes about embassy staff and Chinese officials, swearing repeatedly and banging on the desk.

An exasperated Rudd is shown saying, “And tell these dickheads in the embassy to just give me simple sentances.”

Hands in the air, Rudd rages, “This f**king language! He just complicates it so much. Y’know?”

It appears the video is made from out-takes of a message Kevin Rudd recorded during his time as prime minister.

The embarrassing leak comes amid intensifying speculation about a possible challenge by Mr Rudd to wrest back the Labor leadership and prime ministership from Julia Gillard, raising suspicions that forces loyal to Gillard may be responsible for its posting on YouTube.

Earlier on Saturday, opposition leader Tony Abbott accused the Labor Party of being in disarray over the leadership issue, demanding an election be held immediately.
