HONEYMOON pictures of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge – Will and Kate – have been published by an Australian magazine who seemingly ignored an ‘unofficial media blackout’.

Just after Prince William married his wife Catherine last year in one of the grandest and most publicised weddings of a generation, the heir to the throne asked the world’s media to respect the couple while they took time out of their busy schedules to enjoy a honeymoon in the Seychelles.

However it now seems that one photographer paid no heed to the Prince’s request and Australia’s number one selling weekly magazine – Woman’s Day – have run the exclusive honeymoon pictures on their front page and within the magazine.

Australia’s Woman’s Day have not revealed the price they paid for the exclusive pictures of Will and Kate, but some estimates have put some of the images – especially the pics of Kate in a bikini – around the $1 million mark.

The Duke and Duchess are reported to be very “upset” and a Clarence House spokesperson has commented: “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s honeymoon was obviously a private occasion, and we would ask people to respect their privacy.”

What do you think – were Woman’s Day wrong to publish the pictures? Tell us below:

Absolutely! Even celebrities are entitled to their privacy, and especially if there was established an unofficial media blackout beforehand. It is just another instance of some Australians giving the rest of us a bad image internationally – thanks a bunch guys!
