Matthew Mitcham’s Twitter pics from inside Olympic Village

AUSTRALIAN diver Matthew Mitcham has been a very busy boy. And we don’t just mean in the lead up to the defence of his Men’s 10m Platform Diving Olympic Gold Medal.

While he has been hard at work in the pool and on the diving boards – he has been just as busy outside the pool in the London Olympic Village.

Mitcham has been entertaining his thousands of Twitter followers with some dare-devil photos from within the Village.

From ‘planking‘ on a gorilla’s head to standing on top of the Olympic rings – Mitcham has been snapped in some very cool spots.

And to those people who have criticised Mitcham on Twitter for his Olympic Village antics, his simply reply was: “I’m not breaking any rules. Police have been walking around the village and have not objected to anything.”

If people thought he wasn’t focused on winning back the diving gold medal he won in Beijing, he has been just active inside the diving arena too.

“And just in case you were wondering, yes, I am actually doing serious stuff as well,” he tweeted alongside a picture of himself by the pool.
