Southern Sounds set to rock

JD Fortune has been confirmed to be fronting INXS as they and some of music’s biggest names get set to bring the noise to Clapham Common on Saturday for Southern Sounds.

INXS and JD FortuneAFTER weeks of anticipation, Southern Sounds headliners INXS formerly announced that the guest vocalists performing with them on Clapham Common this Saturday are JD Fortune and Loane.

Loane is a pianist from Paris who first earned national recognition in 2008 when her song ‘Danser’ was voted ‘Song of the Year’ on French Television. In 2010 she recorded a French adaptation of the INXS hit ‘Mystify’ with John Mayer. Her second album, ‘Le Lendemain’ was released in 2011 and sees Loane share a duet with Lenny Kravitz.

Meanwhile, JD Fortune has fronted INXS since winning the CBS reality television series ‘Rock Star: INXS’ in 2005. Fortune’s first album with INXS, ‘Switch’, was released the same year and after having a brief stint away from the band, Fortune re-joined the group in 2010 at the Vancouver Winter Olympics and has since continued to front the band.
